Jessica Schnug
MSW, PCSW

Jessica brought her open-mindedness and dedication to the Hope’s Beacon Counseling team in November of 2023.  She was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. When asked what values are most important to her, she listed accountability, altruism, balance, caring, integrity, kindness, love, patience, safety, teamwork, and travel. Jessica also loves to read, go for drives, and go hiking.  She is passionate about being involved in her community and making a positive impact.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Dakota and her Master of Social Work from the University of New England.  Jessica draws inspiration from her own adverse life experiences to cultivate empathy and understanding to help individuals overcome their challenges and foster resilience.

Jessica’s background is working with teens and young adults struggling with trauma, grief,  anxiety, and depression, as well as helping mothers through pregnancy and postpartum. 

 

One of Jessica’s favorite quotes is from Eleanor Roosevelt, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
