Alyssa McCann
MS, PCC
Alyssa brought a ton of fun and creativity to the Hope’s Beacon Counseling team when she joined us in September 2023. Attributes that accurately describe Alyssa are caring, compassionate, curious, funny, kind, loving to learn, loyal, optimistic, patient, and respectful. Alyssa also loves to read, crochet, put together puzzles, and paint.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Wyoming and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Alyssa knows counseling can be scary and feeling vulnerable can be difficult, so she strives to create a safe, comforting environment for everyone she works with. “Knowing firsthand how vital the connection with your counselor is what drives me to foster an open and supportive environment where you can feel safe when sharing your story.”
